Autor Foods white beans with shiitake mushrooms<\/strong> have won the “Salute to Excellence 2020\u201d award<\/a>. It\u2019s an international award organized by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA)<\/strong>, which distinguishes retailers for innovation and quality in creating products under their own brands.<\/p>\n

The award was for the white beans with shiitake mushrooms we produce for Consum under its distributor brand<\/a>. Our pre-cooked pulse combination achieved this recognition under the main dish category<\/strong>. These white beans with shiitake mushrooms were competing against more than 500 products from 70 retailers in 23 different countries.<\/p>\n

The candidates underwent an evaluation by a professional panel<\/strong> representing the retail market, manufacturing, marketing and sales and marketing journalism. They had to vote based on very specific characteristics: the taste, look, presentation and quality\/price ratio of the products.<\/p>\n

These were some of the panel\u2019s comments<\/strong> on our beans:<\/p>\n

These words fully back the Autor Foods business project and the entire team\u2019s good work. \u201cThese types of awards help us earn credibility and solvency among the most relevant players in our sector,\u201d said Jos\u00e9 Luis Diez, Managing Director of Autor Foods. “I want to thank the entire team for their effort and the implication they demonstrate every day to improve our project”,<\/strong> he added.<\/p>\n
